Three Cups: Not actually dating back to Arcana, despite the name, this dark, English-style pub is where Alasdair does his more solitary drinking at night and his writing during weekend daylight hours. In the Heart District, owned by George Martinson, Five of Hearts.

Evening Star Cafe: A small coffeehouse in the Diamond District, it's a bit far from home, considering, but people haven't figured out that's where to find him yet. He often stops there for lunch or dinner, and spends a few hours after school. Owned by Marielle Santini, Four of Diamonds.

Deck Public School: Centrally located near the Green, where Alasdair works as an English teacher for 14-18 year old students from both the Castles and in Town.

Alasdair's House: A few blocks from the school, where the Heart district intersects with the Spade district, Alasdair lives in a small craftsman-style bungalow that he bought around the time he challenged to Seven.
